service dog "in training" – help?
Ask again … First, I want everyone to know that this is the last resort and would not be doing this another way and is not doing it again in the future. I'm going to Las Vegas in January for a softball tournament (weekend trip). Our dog comes with us to the softball fields. The only problem we are having is finding a hotel that allows dogs. This is where the question comes in. I've found a place where I can get a service dog vest and patch and a patch that says "in training". If I had to go through a trusted Service Dog, what more is needed? A hotel may request any type of management or something? Again, this is a last resort and not feel safe to stay in a Motel 6 (which allow dogs). Your dog-sitter is usual with us, and we do not board. Ideas, suggestions … ?
