My girl 7 months boxer gets too excited for our baby on the way: (?
My wife and I have a baby on the way, and she is afraid Lexi, our boxer, is too wild around the baby. I have 7 months to calm her down and prove my wife wrong. She is a very intelligent dog and very affectionate, she just gets too excitied around other people and animals. She has been around children before, and it does pretty well with them, but all have been 5 years. She does jump and mouth with 5 years of age but has never hurt. What I can do? Training techinque Any suggestions? He has been through PetSmart puppy training, but they seem to be a waste of time. She knows all the tricks just need help to settle down. I was told by the owners of other Boxer, who know they are babys babys and adjust accordingly, any advice? Please help!

My youngest boxer is 15 months old now, and I'm amazed at how much is established in recent months. She is very young and energetic, but it is quiet and very sweet with children. It does not jump again to everyone who walks through the door. By please join this site, is an incredible resource for owners of boxer.
